Farmlyplace’s “Food in the City” meetup continues – every last Wednesday of the month!
For the month of July we will be exploring how food is moved around the city and how it can be managed most efficiently. If you have local produce it still requires local transportation, either to support the producers or for customers who can walk and pick up food at a pick-up point (esp. in times of Covid-19).
Have you ever wondered how your food is moving through the city? In light of the current global pandemic, which has put pressure on global supply chains and access to resources in cities as well, this topic is very timely! Join us for an open exchange of useful tricks and tools, and get some inspiration from our guest speakers as they share with us what they do and how/why they got started!
GUEST SPEAKERS: from local and neighborhood projects, urban designers and site developers who plan or run local logistics, pick-up concepts and other new approaches on the last/first mile
LOCATION: Our offices in Charlottenburg (address with registration)
